I'm off to Harbin on Feb 23rd. Since I've never been to China, I'm kinda excited. I think I will have a lot of fun there. I've searched and found some pics of the school I'm planning to go to. It's Heilongjiang univ. and it looks beautiful. I can't wait to be there.

There's one thing I'm worrying about, though. They say the city of Harbin is one of the coldest city in China, in fact Harbin city is in the Heilongjiang Province which is located at the top-right section of the country. The city is much colder than any other cities in Korea. And I HATE cold weather!! I think I gotta do something about this. HMM.. What should I do? Wearing three more clothes under the outer garments(One of my friends actually did it. She said she felt like she's a bear-_-;)? Or...?

Here're some pics of the school, Heilongjiang univ.

 Pond
 Cafeteria

The pics are from http://www.hanbitchina.com.

fast like a flash eh? dunno what u mean, but thx. newayz, on new years day, you don't do much during the day but at like 8:00 pm or it might be 7, you watch the chinese new year festival on tv, it's a lot of fun. i dunno if you understand chinese or not, but it's really cool. newayz, then you stay up until 12 to 1 am, go outside after the new year festival is over and you play with firecrackers, they are really pretty since everyone in the city is going to do it! then you go back inside and eat dumplings and then sleep unless you are gonna pary all night : )
that's just how my family celebrated, but you can do it in all sorts of ways.
btw, i suggest you go to the winter castles or carnaval built on the river. it's really pretty and fun!! i luv that place. and you get to ride on like 1000m high slides. hehe. go on a warmer day, cuz u r gonna freeze!

well i think that's pretty good. if u need more advices just let me know! me luv china, esp. harbin!!! hehe
